Grain is the most important (and expensive) ingredient in your beer (with the exception of you, of course). Achieving and maintaining the optimum grist profile involves more than simply adjusting the gap setting on your roller mill and hitting the start button on your auger. Treat your grain with care and you’ll get the most out of your brewhouse. From better vorlauf to increased brewhouse yields, a well designed Grain Handling System will increase the efficiency of your brewing operation, saving you both time and money. Let us help you design your grain handling system. As part of our service and installation, we will adjust your mill with your auger to ensure it’s working with proper efficiency by conducting a sive test several times while adjusting the mill to obtain the perfect grain crush.
For runs under 40 lineal feet we offer a flex auger system, but for over 40 lineal feet these systems tend to beat up the grains too much, so we offer a chain-disc system that can run 1000 lineal feet without any issues and conform to tight spaces.
